In this tutorial we will learn to clone a website using HTTrack, by this we mean .hml download files, .css, .js and images that shape a website.
HTTrack is a free software that lets you download a website available on the Internet to a local directory, the way it works is initially touring the URL of the website of interest and then runs along the structure of internal links. How to install HTTrack?
First, we will click on the download link recommended in my case is compatible with Windows 7 64-bit; to have a different operating system characteristics to detail link, you can choose another option.

A summary of the installation settings, we are ready to install so that we click on "Install" is then presented.
Once installed we click on "Finish" to start our program.
The program is open, select Castilian as language and we click on "OK" and the program is ready to be used.
How does httrack?
To learn how it works, try to clone the official website of Bootstrap, which is located by default in "C: \ Web My Places". Then we click on "Next".
Then we enter the URL, in this case: http://getbootstrap.com/ the official site, then we cick "Next".
We appear options to make some more settings, however we will click "Finish" to begin.
Then start the download process.
Once completed we can review the audit file, in this case we see that was completed in 4 minutes 14 seconds, 182 links were scanned, links 178 of which were written correctly, there was 1 alert and 3 errors.
Now let's look at our web cloned at the location "C: \ My Web sites \ Bootstrap", here we see an index.html file, which will redirect us to the cloned web, being the location of the project as follows: "file: /// C: /Mis%20lugares%20Web/Bootstrap/getbootstrap.com/index.html "
To review the files we downloaded must enter "C: \ My Web sites \ Bootstrap \ getbootstrap.com", is where you will find all .html files, .css, .js and images that shape the cloned website .
HTTrack works on most websites but not all, since there are ways to prevent your website to be cloned with this software. .php In the event scheduled in this language pages are not downloaded files, because these files work server side and do not need to display them in the browser unlike .css files.
