How can I connect Samsung Galaxy J7 to the Smart TV?

Samsung's televisions and mobile devices are designed to communicate with each other. Screen Mirroring is the best proof of this: a functionality that allows you to enjoy on TV what you see on your phone, whether it is videos, pictures, mails, messages or even many applications.

How to use screen mirroring on samsung galaxy j7

Using a HDMI Cable

This is the simplest method, since you only need an HDMI cable. It will depend on the type of mobile device, some already bring the micro HDMI port , but in other cases it will be necessary to use an MHL micro USB to HDMI converter , such as the above image, which has cost about 8 euros.

All you have to connect the cable to your samsung galaxy j7 and the TV, and look for the HDMI source with the TV remote. Once done, you will have the screen of your samsung galaxy j7 on your TV and you can see games, apps, videos and your favorite content on the big screen.

by WiFi

To connect your smartphone to the TV wirelessly, two things are necessary. First, your TV must have WiFi option, something we find virtually any SmartTV today. On the other hand, your phone must also have multiple function display. If you are sure that accounts with both options, just follow these steps:

  1. Through the source of your TV, find the wireless display option.
  2. Start multi - screen option on your smartphone. Once inside, your phone will start searching for other devices that are connected to the WiFi network through this function. Here you must select your TV.
  3. Once the two devices are recognized, the screen of your smartphone appear on the TV.

There are also some applications where you need not follow these steps because they can connect to the TV automatically. This occurs with numerous video and image applications, such as YouTube or your phone gallery.

In these applications you will find an icon with two screens or a screen and connecting a WiFi signal. Clicking on this button, you'll find all the devices connected to your network. You have to choose your TV and the app in question will appear on the screen.

You van use Chromecast which ,is a very economic gadget created and released recently by Google, and basically a kind of Wi-Fi bridge between the TV and the device. By means of this device we will be able to visualize contents in the screen of the television without having to join them by means of cables, controlling all aspects of the reproduction like the volume levels and others directly from the cellular or the tablet.

Samsung Galaxy j7 screen mirroring

  • Make sure your phone and your TV supports HDMI functionality. Look in the manual of your phone or contact Samsung to make sure your phone is compatible with this feature.
  • Buy an HDTV adapter. This type of adapter allows you to connect your phone to your TV. It is available in the Samsung stores.
  • Connect the HDMI cable to your TV to HDTV adapter. Plug the small end of the HDTV adapter into the charging port of your phone.
  • Recover your phone charger and connect it to the HDTV adapter. This requires external power source in order to make the connection between your TV and your Samsung Galaxy. Plug the charger into the correct port on your HDTV adapter.
  • Go to the HDMI channel on your TV. Change the channel on your TV so that it displays what comes from the HDMI port to which your adapter is connected.

Use a WiFi connection to TV

If you do not have a suitable cable, but you are part owners of a Smart TV, you can connect your smartphone or tablet to television wifi. Make sure your phone has the feature, selecting notifications in the top bar of the screen to a multi-screen display option -the name may vary by phone model. Then select your TV as the source. Your Android device and the TV screen will then sync your content will be found and projected on the TV screen.

Plan your content with a key

In the form of USB, several manufacturers offer solutions to connect your tablet and touch your smartphone to your TV. The Android screen, the most widespread is the key to Google Chromecast. The advantage is to benefit from the freedom of movement of a wireless connection, and a real ease of use. Depending on the brand, the keys are sold around 30 euros and can be used on all Android mobile devices and HDMI televisions.

Mobile applications compatible with this kind of system are becoming more numerous. The VOD service or replay as FranceTV Pluzz, YouTube, Netflix, CanalPlay etc. are almost all. Project the contents of your smartphone on the TV becomes a breeze.

Galaxy J7 with TV

Since on the smartphones so a lot of data like pictures and videos accumulates, it is sometimes quite handy if one can transfer these also to the television. The two following methods are the easiest to connect the mobile phone to the TV.

·         Variant 1: You can transfer the image from your Samsung Galaxy J7 (edge) over Miracast or BLE. Both set-top boxes such as Amazon FireTV, a Miracast video adapter or even a simple Samsung Smart TV support this technology. Support Which Samsung TV connection via BLE or SmartView, you can find out on the Samsung website . Then you have to make sure that your Galaxy J7 with the TV in the same network. Then drag the notification bar down and select SmartView. The app now searches for the TV and connects itself after one-time registration with it. Later you have to enter a four-digit PIN for the setup and the setup is now complete .. Now you can transfer the image of your Galaxy J7 to the TV.

·         Variant 2: Transfer image via Chromecast. A good alternative for all who do not own Samsung Smart TV or TV with BLE support is a Chromecast or a FireTV stick. Once plugged in to the TV, you can use the official Chromecast app to transfer not only individual content such as Netflix or YouTube from the Samsung Galaxy J7 (edge) to the TV but also the entire screen. For this, download the official Chromecast app and reflect your mobile phone on the TV.
