I hope you can help if the yellow image is most likely to be the collapse LCD picture that it is necessary to replace it is very difficult to calibrate again although if you can. And if it is a color shade could be the prism can not remember the name but it is in the light output of the lamp it is easy to locate it may be that this loose piece off heat to and place it in place and make it to stick with some thermal paste.

What shadow color is very easy to solve, just check that the data cable (which indicates the yellow or Yellow) ranging from pop unit (is the prism having 3 mini LCD through which pass the 3 primary colors ) to the logic card is properly connected (sometimes we do not get either cable or left side), I recommend very carefully, with the projector on and disarmed (careful not to burn or electrocute) you try to accommodate the cable data refer you until you no longer see the yellow ghost, which by the way if the red data cable that was improperly connected, ghosts red and blue with blue would.

Question of my customers:

Hello,
I just replaced the original lamp from my EPSON EMP-TW20H by that acquired through you and I see that whatever the color adjustment made on my EPSON projector program the left side of the projector screen appears yellow marked while the right side remains in natural colors.
Would you be kind enough to contact me to consider replacing the lamp in the guaranteed part 3 months?
Thanks in advance.
Regards.

Our response:

Hello,
The color problem you describe can not come to the light. It is important to know that the light comes from the lamp, but not the colors.
The colors are set by the matrix and the color wheel. Indeed, the lamp's role is to project a light that shines through the color wheel interposed between the lamp and the matrix. The color wheel is divided into 4 sectors: 3 color bases (Red, Green and Blue) and the fourth sector whose role is to increase the lighting in general. The different colors are then reflected or not by the microscopic mirror system content of the matrix, specific to the DLP / DMD technology; and it is from there that the pixels that form the image on the screen appear colored or black. So the role of the lamp is only to project the beam of light and colors of the image on the screen depend mainly on the state of the matrix and the color wheel.
However, if you want us to test your lamp , thank you to inform us so that we reconvene. For cons, the return postage will be at your expense if the lamp appears to be good.
