Chromecast is a Google device similar to a USB memory that only connects to the HDMI port of the television and allows wireless transmission.
This device has to be connected to a WiFi network to work. Once configured and with WiFi, we can control the use of Chromecast from our cell phone wirelessly.

If we turn off the cell phone screen, the television screen will also turn off. If the television we have is not compatible with Miracast , there are adapters that connect to the HDMI or USB ports of the TV.
